POSITION SUMMARY

The Home Décor Sales Associate Role is responsible for all phases of the Décor department including, but not limited to, Greeting and assisting customers with purchases in the home décor dept. Stocking shelves and inventory control. Assisting with placing orders and recommending new products to stock. Measuring and Cutting Blinds. Loss prevention. Fronting and facing. Keeping a clean department.  And providing knowledgeable and courteous answers to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Have the ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to multitask while being fast, accurate, and efficient.
  • Must be able to read and use a tape measure well.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Preferred:

  • Have knowledge measurements and able to add and subtract them in a timely matter.
  • Enjoy helping customers and ensure customer satisfaction by demonstrating an energetic, friendly, and positive demeanor.
  • Experience in a fast-paced hardware retail environment
  • Open availability to work.
